  1. *Usually* a swaying tail motion means they're content, but a flicking/jerky motion  means they're annoyed.  It doesn't necessarily mean she'll scratch you or anything, but you're probably doing something to bother her.  It could also mean she's in "pounce mode" if you're playing with her.

If she seems annoyed and she's purring at the same time, well... that's just her being a cat.  They can be quite schizo sometimes :-)

  2. My little darling does the same thing. Sure, she wags her tail when she is mad, but also when she is totally relaxed. She Loves to lay on her back, and have her tummy scratched, and her little tail just swishes away. But try to stop scratching, and she meows till you start up again. I think it is just some sort of weird relfex cats have.

  3. I doubt there is anything wrong with her. Cats don't just wag their tails when they're angry. I work at a cat shelter, and it is natural for a cat to flick or wag it's tail when feeling playful, relaxed, angry or pleased. it's just a thing they do -kind of like playing with your hair or twiddling your thumbs.

  4. that means shes happy but something is bothering her like if ur stroking her she might purr cuz shes happy bu she might not like it on her stomach or something like that...hope i helped.
