  1. A Royal Princess who is first in line to the throne is generally called The Heiress presumptive or Heiress Apparent (depending on the succession of law of its monarchy). The difference between the two is that one declares her as the one and only heiress to the throne, where the other acknowledge her status but if someone with a better claim could take her crown away.

If she marries a Prince, he would be honoured with a courtsey style of "His Royal Highness" and maybe followed with a title of a Duke or Earl. When the Princess is crowned Queen, she also has the power to make her husband a "Prince Consort." A prince consort, generally speaking, is a common term for the husband of a Queen Regnant, unless he himself also is a king in his own right. She may also name him "King Consort" but this is very rare.

King consort is a title given in some monarchies to the husband of a queen regnant. Nowadays, it is a symbolic title only, the sole constitutional function of the holder being similar to a queen consort, namely to produce an heir to the throne. Spain, Portugal, England and Scotland have all had kings consort; however, since the rank of king normally outranks that of queen, in most monarchies the queen's husband is given the title of prince or prince consort instead.

  2. The prince will be a prince-consort of he married a queen in Great Britain and the United Kingdom. He may receive a dukedom and other titles as well. The Queen is monarch by birthright,in the UK,and it would take an act of Parliament for her spouse to become King.

  3. Since the princess is in line to become queen, her husband would be elevated to one of two positions.  In some countries he would become King.  In others, such as Britain, he would become Prince Consort.  Queen Elizabeth of England has that situation.

If the prince was eventually made king of his own country, his wife would become queen of that country without exception that comes to mind.

  4. It depends on the country, in the past it has been used to cement a permanent union between territories.  In other cases it has been written into a premarital agreement that the Male would not become King.

  5. No. Take England for example. The Queen is Queen. The Man she is married to is Prince. A Man can never become King by marriage because a King is seen as more than a Queen. A man who marries a Queen becomes a Prince.

On the other hand a woman can marry a King & become a Queen. It's a silly double standard but it works I guess.
