  1. My wedding was very Italian inspired however I didn't do many of the customs.  The only custom I can think of is walking around the town before the wedding.  Also the Jordan Almonds, yuck.  I am half Italian so I wanted a real Italian feel.  We did an espresso bar with Sambuca, a desert table with lots of Italian pastries, then we did lots of Italian music, Frank, Tony, Dean Martin. Our signature cocktails were called Italian Crushes.  I made the drink up myself, it was an alcoholic version of the sparkling lemonade.  We did pink lemonade with champagne and a splash of raspberry liquor. The other half of my family is Irish so we had an a 3 piece band, 2 fiddles and a cello, play Irish music.  Everyone LOVED it.

  3. hi i'm not italian nor have i been to an italian wedding so i can't help you on this.. but i'd love to know what the heck is the deal with an iron in the grooms pocket?  I'm presuming it's not an iron used to iron clothes lol.

    Good luck and take care.
