Its my husbands birthday today.......?

and I will be honest, I just about forgot. (I dont need a lecture I already feel horrible) Earlier this week I took him to a nice dinner theater to celebrate his birthday early. But I would like to show him how much I love him and how much he means to me, our relationship has been strained and I dont want to make it worse by not celebrating his birthday. Does anyone have any original and unique ideas for something that I could do for him tonight? Thanks a bunch.

make him his favorite dinner and bake him a nice cake!

I forget my husbands also.....this year he got a truck/boat/masonic ring and he still says I forgot it.....

I gave him an extra nice night in bed on his birthday...............

I would start by first giving him a massage with some warm scented oils and his favorite relaxing music and slowly take it from there which ever direction you feel most comfortable going. Maybe talk sweetly about all the good times you remember from the past with him and how you wouldn't of missed them for the world etc etc. I don't know and don't want to know since it is none of my business but if you two like to play around in the bedroom maybe you could take some whipped cream in there and say you are his birthday cake.

Make him a gourmet meal from a good cookbook. Give him a nice card and express how much you appreciate him. Light candles and pour a nice bottle of wine and sit and tell him how sweet life is being with him and how proud of him you are.

I agree with Cynthia.  

But you could alway try and let him pick as to what he would like to do, it's his birthday and you should let him know that whatever he wants to do to celabrate, you would love to join him.

I once let my wife pick, and I was supprized as to her idea.  Then before we went to the bedroom, I put a cake on the bed and lit candles.  She shaid that it was the sweetest thing.  Not only did I do what she wanted to do, but also supprized her in return.
