Ivanovic vs. Jankovic?

so, Ana is back to No.1... i think she deserves it.. she's far more better player than Jelena...

what do you think, who deserves it more and why?

Between the two, no doubt Ivanovic is better.  As a Grand Slam champion & two time runner-up, it is a big edge over a four time Grand Slam semifinalist. Jankovic has to prove she's deserve to be world no.1 by winning grand slam.

I'm not a fan of either, but Ivanovic deserves it more than Jankovic...

But I'll go ahead and say neither of them deserve to be #1. Neither of them playing well, esp. with Ana's "injuries".

Both of them are rubbish number 1s- Ana has dne better in grand slams so she deserves it more out of these two, but Venus, Serena, Safina are all playing better than her. In fact, she gets outsed all the time by nobodies. Both of them have a pretty average game, and if women's tennis was decent they would be numbers 6 or 7 at best. Anyone can beat anyone in the womens top 50. Thats how bad it is.

I like Safina and Dementieva and hope they both do well at US Open. Would be hilerious to see Ana and Jelena go out early once again.

Not a fan of these two ladies. In my opinion, neither of them deserves to be in the top spot. There are a lot better players than them who are in the top 10. To name a few... Venus, Serena, Maria.

But between Ana & Jelena. I'll choose Ana, cause she has won at least one Grand Slam.

Ivanovic is a more powerful player.  She's more aggressive and seems to attack more comfortably.

Jankovic seems to have a little less power, but more finesse and placement with her game.  Her movement is better as well.  

I don't think either one of these players should be considered number 1 in all honesty.  They are both great and fun to watch, for many obvious reasons, however, I think if Henin decided to rejoin the tour, these 2 would still come up short.  Neither has the goods to maintain number 1 for very long.

Serena, step up and take your position in history.  Jesus, you are by far, the best pound for pound player now and (when training and serious) better than your sister or Henin.  Take 3 more years out of your life and dominate like you should and then retire and do whatever you want with your life!!

I think Ana's a stronger player and she deserves to be the world number one. She won the French, and did well at Wimbledon too. She's younger and has more energy. Jelena still has to win a Grand Slam title. Both girls are making Serbia proud though!

Jankovic was 3 when Ana was 5. it is 2 difference. now Ana is 1 and Jankovic is 3 and again the 2 difference. they are SAME!

Actually according 2 the recent performance none of them deserve 2 be in the No.1 spot...I think SERENA WILLIAMS is truly deserving 4 the No.1 position...

But..if its a choice btw ANA & JELENA---ANA is far more deserving than JELENA.....
