JL Audio Stealthbox?

well i have an 2004 trailblazer and i wass thinking of buying a stealth box by jlaudio... i dont know much about subs and car audio. i heard jlaudio has a lower rms than what it can handle without damaging. is $600 worth it for one 10"

  1. Can't say specifically about the JL, but I had the MTX version for a Honda Civic. They do tend to be pricier, but the unique shape as well as the space savings are things you're paying for as well. The 10" I had for the Civic was attached with a 300W class D amplifier. Now it wasn't earth shattering or anything like that, but had a decent low frequency response and gave the whole system a more balanced feel. Not to mention being able to still utilize my trunk! :)

    People didn't even notice it when I opened up the trunk to get things out, which was a big plus in that area, theft was a problem. Judging from your comments, I'd say it would work out just fine for you. (By that I'm meaning that you aren't coming across as someone who's trying to shatter glass or enter competitions.)
