Jaguars vs. Titans Who will win? ?

The Jaguars square off against the Titans in week one of regular season play. Who will win and why?

This will be the coming out party for the Titans.  get ready to be shocked.  It will be an exciting game that the Titans will win.  They will be mush better than people think.

The two teams are as evenly matched as any other 2 teams in the NFL.  Both have strong running games with a mediocre qb.  Both have good defenses.  Neither has a breakout receiver who can make explosive plays.  

I like the Titans for 4 reasons:

1.  Their defensive line is slightly better than the Jags O-line.  That gives the running game advantage to TN.

2.  TN has a better special teams unit.  Rob Birona virtually guarantees points anytime the offense moves the ball past the 35.

3.  The Titans have a great backfield attack.  The 1-2 of Lendell White and Chris Johnson is deadly.  White is a big bruising back who will punish the defense - and Chris Johnson is a legitimate threat to score every time he touches the ball.  Couple that with VY, and the Titans have the edge.

4.  The game is in Nashville.  The Titans are tough to beat at home, especially when the teams are this close to one another on paper.

It will be a tight ball game, but I say the Titans by a touchdown.

Titans seems to win games out of luck, they haven't dominate a team physically

Jags, they're going to be nasty this year. Vince won't be able to do much with nobody to pass it to.

Anyone who says Titans is a fool. The Jags will win and it won't even be a game. Tennessee will find itself in the bottom of the AFC South while Jacksonville will beat out the Colts for the title.
