  11. I am a former chef and worked in Jamaica back in the 1980's, and I am fortunate to live in Toronto ON Canada and we have a wonderfully large Jamaican community here and numerous places to dine.

I like it all, from Jerk, Roti, and other Curry dishes, ackee and saltfish, festival and johnnycake, Rundown and Esceviche fish, desserts like sweet potato or cassava pone, treats like coconut bun, bulla cakes, meat patties and my fav a sweet bread known as spice bun.

We have a number of independent places here, but I go to a place on Yonge St here in T.O, a place called Caribbean Sunrise like a Jamacian MickeyD's, for breakfast or lunch, ackee is my fav with either salt fish or just veg, a festival or fried dumpling and for lunch Jerk is good, Curried Goat or another one I cannot resist Ox Tail stew with Peas and Rice.
