i got this coin from my friend. it says ten dollars-1999 on the bottom of one side. how much is it worth in the USA?

A few cents. The exchange rate is appox $70 Jamaican dollar to $1US. So you J$10 is not worth much

practically nothing...it's not even worth anything much here. The exchange rate is roughly J$72 to US$1 so it works out to be merely a few cents.

It's pretty much valueless in the US.
