Japanese songs or artists ?

im trying to study Japanese and is easy to memorize with songs and stuff so if somebody could recommend some ^-^ i would really appreciate it ^-^ thanks

I love Yui, Nakanomori Band, Southern All Stars, Mr. Children, Orange Range, Aya Ueto, Miki Imai... The list goes on and on. These are mostly rock/pop bands

What kind of music do you like? You will get better recomendations if you are more specific.

I know a few bands, and solo artists. Here we go......

There's Gackt, Hyde (and Hyde's band, L'Arc~en~Ceil, amazing band!), Miyavi, Malice Mizer (Goth Band), Versailles (Goth Band), Antic Cafe (creepy singer ~_~), and of course Puffy AmiYumi!

I don't know any Versaille songs, or Malice Mizer songs, but I've heard some, and they were pretty cool.

and search for some of the Japanese artists already mentioned by other posters

There are many Japanese music fan groups on lastfm.com that would be happy to recommend artists and songs.

if your into rock or something id recommend Miyavi, Gazette, Alice Nine, Cafe, Uverworld, Aqua Timez, L'Arc~en~ciel.

or if you prefer pop id say, Tohoshinki, BoA, Ayumi Hamasaki, Utada Hikaru, Arashi, Koda Kumi, Kattun, NewS, Crystal Kay, Leah Dizon, Kanjani8, Namie Amuro, Tegomass and Yuna Ito.
