Okay, I was looking for japanese writing paper, to pratatice my japanese. I was hoping for a tracer like it shows u how to write it then it gives u a space to try it on ur own. Kinda like 1st grader book when they trying to learn the alphabet. Can I find that online or do I have to go and buy it?

  1. I'm sure you can find some online.  Or if you have a local Japanese stationery store like Kinokuniya you could always try that.  Another idea is that you can print out Japanese characters that you want to learn using Microsoft Word.  Then trace over the characters using a thin paper (like lightweight copy paper) you could use that to practice.  To write in Japanese or Chinese, it is best to use thin (fine point) gel pens.  They will give you more precision and will allow you to trace the characters better than a standard Bic pen.  I would suggest a Hi-Tec-C pen.  A place like JetPens.com is a great site to find Japanese pens in stationery.

You could also try eBay.  Or, you could find a Japanese e-mail penpal and ask them to send you a book from Japan.  Or, I have heard people calling Japanese bookstores in other cities and asking them to send their shipment of books to them.  That would also work.
