where is there a really nice jazz place to eat and grab a couple of drinks on a sunday evening in atlanta? help.. need to change my seen, got friends comin to town soon.

Why is everyone stuck on Buckhead?  get real!!!!  Downtown on Peachtree, drive and pay attention to the spots.  Don't know the name of it, but it was the best i ever experianced in 40 years.

Cafe 290 is real cool. It is located off of Roswell Rd near 285.  Sambucas is nice too.  Located in Buckhead.  Across the street from Sambucas is a place called Baloogas.  Jazz piano bar with singers.  I have gone to all three and rate them all the same.  HAVE FUN!
