Jersey and Billiards?

Question

Okay...so I live is Southern New Jersey and I LOVE to play Billiards (Pool for you uneducated people out there...you sicken me >P). Does anyone who lives in the area (20 minutes away from Philly) know where I can join a league or a team or something. Thanks in advance.

You can check out http://www.generationpool.com for some good resources under the Play Pool tab.  The major nationally affiliated leagues are TAP, VNEA, BCA, and APA.  Their popularity varies by region, but if you search enough I'm sure you can find something in your area.  Also, some pool halls will have an in-house league or weekly tournaments.  You can locate a lot at the link above or also http://www.playpool.com

Educated people use the word "billiards" correctly: to describe 3 cushion and other games played on a billiard (pocketless) table.
