Jet skis in Venice?

I recently visited Venice, Italy. One thing that I noticed is that there were surprisingly no jet skis buzzing around the canals. Is there a law preventing them or just no one rides them?

  1. LMAO! are you crazy venice is a historical city you can't just go around on jet skis, i bet your american.


  2. Venice is a historic city, and the waves created by jetskies would only further erode the buildings that are very close to the water. So no, jetskis are not permitted, and rightly so.

  4. people use the canals for transportation, not to ride around on jet skis. that would be really dangerous.
