Well I trained in Jiu Jitsu a long time ago and I can't seem to remember how to preform a specific joint lock. It is used when your opponent takes the rear mount and makes the mistake of crossing his feet to hold you tighter. You are supposed to manipulate the ankle in a way that causes severe pain, and generally gives you a chance to spin into them to take the top position. Can anybody explain to me or give me a link that explains this specific technique?

  1. The move you're thinking of is when someone has your back and a body triangle. It's a simple move. If he doesn't put his free foot (the one not behind his knee) behind your leg to lock in the body triangle, you just grab his foot, put it between your legs (if it's his right foot it should be behind your left leg) and crank it by straightening the leg his foot is under and raising the leg his ankle is on top of. I hope that makes sense, it's an easy move but It's a little difficult to explain in writing..
