Question:

Job Searching with no luck

I have a degree in medical office work, and I'm looking for a job as I have been for the past two years. Unfortunately, I have a child endangerment charge against me. What happened was this: my 9-year-old fell out of a tree and broke her arm. Since I was BBQing and consuming alcohol, I thought ti would be best if someone else drove. That person who drove was RIGHT THERE. the hospital wasn't mad about that - they were mad that they smelled alcohol in all of our breaths. NONE of us were even at the legal 'drunk' limit, which in our state, is 0.08. Anyway, they charged us with Child Endangerment. So is that why I cannot find a job in that field? is there any hope? It is not a felony charge, but for some reason they flat-out refuse to expunge it, even though CPS told us it was not a concern for them.

Thank you
