  1. Talk about transferable skills, say that you have good people skills, which you could put to use as customer service skills, you have problem solving skills (try and think of a problem you've solved) tell them you have numerical skills and you'll need to back that up with qualifications.

then tell them you are diplomatic and talk about your work with children.

    good luck! :o)

  2. any bar work? that's retail

  3. HI you sound exactly like me ive worked with children all my adult life but ive also done retail work, the best thing to say is that you like meeting new people, you find it easy to talk to people your always there if anyone needs help and best of all tell your interveiwer that you treat people how YOU would like to be treated whilst shopping, they die for that one......good luck!

  4. Go to another Branch of Clintons cards , Familirise yourself with the stock , take over the interview by talking about thier cards that will show you are interested in Cards ( the hard part will be explaning Why ) there Hardly the best on the market . They will be impressed by your knowledge see youn as potential and tick the right boxes ( otherwise if you dont get the job you know nepotism is at hand the manageress has given it to her niece ( report it if this is the case !
