Jobless in Melbounre?

I have arrived two weeks ago and am still jobless. I tried SEEK & MYCAREER and JOBSEARCH for IT jobs, but nothing works. Can someone guide me to get any casual job for the time being as my savings is running out.

a) do you have a  Permanent Resident Visa?

No -> go home, you are wasting your money

YES -> You need to state this VERY often and BOLD in you CV that you are a resident.

It took me 2 weeks to get my fist job in IT here in Melbourne, the main reseon was that people thought I had no visa.

Also keep in mind that recuters are not Technical AT ALL.

(e.g. I'm have the RedHat Cert Engineer exame and a couple of recuter asked me if I could do Linux...wonderFOOL's)
