1. What do they do for your acting career?

2. Are they a scam?

3. What are the interviews like?

4.If they are a scam, what are some good Acting agencies in Philadelphia?

heres the basic idea: if they make you pay any money, even if its for training, don't do it.

And yes john casablancas is a scam. no different from barbizon JRP proscout and all the other programs out there for young people hoping to break into the business.

CONTACT THE PHILADELPHIA FILM COMMISSION ( A NON PROFIT ORG) TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY PRODUCTIONS SHOOTING IN YOUR AREA WHERE THEY ARE CASTING LOCAL TALENT. THEY ALSO MAY BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU THE NAMES OF LOCAL  TALENT AGENCIES AND CASTING DIRECTORS - THIS ALL FREE. IF THE AGENT GETS YOU AN ACTING JOB - THEY WILL TAKE 10% OF THE MONEY YOU  MAKE - THIS IS CORRECT AND PERFECTLY LEGAL - ANYTHING MORE ( UNLESS YOU GET A MANAGER WHO CAN TAKE UP TO 15%) IS A SCAM!
