Jump rope stamina upper body?

Does jump rope build stamina for the upper body or just the lower body? I need the truth please, thank you.

  1. is helps your lungs and your legs both get stronger. when your lungs get stronger you are in fact conditioning your whole body. jump-rope is great exercise. go to crossfit.com for to learn more about exercise and nutrition


  2. Jumping Rope the right way is a great workout for your Legs,waist,stamina,balance,cordination and speed..it works all your muscles to some extent. Make sure to Jump side to side when skipping rope, Jumping in one spot up and down can damage your heart.

  3. When I think of stamina, I think of conditioning, and that's a heart/lung thing.

    Rope skipping won't give you much in the ways of muscle endurance. In boxing, the muscles that get really stressed are arms and shoulders. To give them endurance, you have to do a lot of bag work, especially with weights.
