  1. I, like another poster, have the galloping horse jumperoo. It's soo great!! Call me weird, but I don't exactly trust the doorway ones. But the stationary one has worked out great for me. However, it is much more expensive than the doorway ones and takes up soo much room. Oh, and he has an exersaucer too. They can jump a bit in that too. Plus it has all kinds of toys and dodads for them to play with.

  2. I have the galloping horse  jumper from target or babies r us......... my daugther loveeeesss it her grandma just went and brought the rain forest jumparoo for her house when she watches the baby and this one has lights and things hanging everywhere and she loved it even more................. but if space is a problem the hanging ones are prob. just as fun........

  3. I have the Fisher Price jumper-roo...my daughter loves it!  It does take up a lot of room though.  I would recommend getting an activity center for your little one too...my baby likes both places and it gives her legs practice.  Our activity center lets her "walk" around it rather than having her stand in the center and turn.  My pediatrican said that time in these devices should be limited, as it can hinder crawling and walking since they are used to support.

  4. It depends on what you're looking for:

    Jumperoo

+ lights and sounds, can be set up anywhere

    -  takes up a lot of floor space (not good if you have an apartment/condo)

    Doorway Jumper

+ doesn't take up a lot of space

    -  not usable if your doorways don't have frames/limited on where you can put it.

  5. The good thing about the ones that hang on doorframes is that they fold up small so they can be put out of the way and stored for later kids.

The good thing about the ones on stands is that they can go anywhere, which is nice if your livingroom doesn't have doorframes.

However most of the ones on frames I have seen I wouldn't trust with a toddler and large dog running around.  So I stick with the doorframe ones.

  6. we got the rainforest jumperoo, he likes it

  7. My son loves to stand too. My sister got him the Rainforest jumperoo http://www.target.com/Fisher-Price-Rainf... and he absolutely LOVES it! There's lots of toys on it to play with and the seat swivels all around. And from what I've noticed, it's much cheaper at Target or Walmart compared to Babies R Us or Fisher Price themselves.

  8. evenflo makes a exersaucer that your baby is just the right age for..he can jump around in it.. my son LOVES this thing

  9. my daughter loved to stand. we bought her the tigger door bouncer - waste of money she hated it. she would tolerate her walk for a half hour or so then create chaos to get out of it. she was crawling at 6mos so she prefered to go exploring herself!

  10. the stationary jumper roo is way better it has music and lights and it is a lot safer. i had one for my son and he loved it. i have to get one for my daughter. the only complaint i have with the jumper roo is it takes up lots of space. the hanging jumper takes just a little but i was always afraid it would fall. i have never heard of it happening but the fear is still there.

  11. I would say a jumper roo would be better than a door hanging jumper because they generally have much more to do on them, like lots of activities and toys attached. Also there isnt the risk that it could fall off the doorway.
