  1. It's just related to nervousness.  You need to desensitize yourself to whatever stimulus is bringing it on.  There are different approaches of desensitizing that therapists use.  But if it was a traumatic experience that was the stimulus - then that's simply normal.  It happened to me when they tried to shove this GIGANTIC needle in my back for an epidural. When I saw that needle - blam, I was gone. But if it's an everyday/common experience you need to deal with that.

  2. Your doctor should have had a bigger discussion with you about it.

You need to make sure you are well hydrated all the time, so drink 8 glasses of water per day (slightly more when it is hot as that adds to dehydration). You also need to add more salt to your diet. Don't overdo it, but do add more.

Did he discuss any medications with you? And is it because of low blood pressure or dehydration?

You need to go back and ask more questions. Also ask for a referral to a blood pressure specialist if in fact it is your blood pressure.

If you are standing in long lines, go up and down on your tippy toes to help the blood circulate back up to the heart. If you feel faint, either squat or lay down and get your legs elevated.

Message me with what info you do have and I can help you. I have NMH myself.
