Anyone else on here think we should have a board that is specifically for the paranormal and witchcraft?

No because for one thing, there is already a  board for the paranormal.Its under alternative sciences or something like that.Another thing, witchcraft can be considered folklore in some people's opinions and witchcraft is used heavily in certain mythologies and religions, so it is fine here.Honestly, whether it is in mythology and folklore or in a separate board entirely, people will still be asking the same questions.

Honestly - not worth it here - if Y!A were to make a separate section for pagans - they would have to do so for every single religion/spiritual system there is.  I don't think it's worth it.  

R&S is supposed to be where we can learn about different religions and viewpoints (and perhaps more about our own faith as well.)  There are plenty of online discussion boards & egroups just for pagans, just for witches & Wiccans, just for Christians, etc. - and I agree in those setting that many of them you have to join, this keeps the level of insulting and proselytizing down to a minumun.  

There actually are separate categroy sections for paranormal and parapsychology already.

i'd say that witchcraft falls under pagan title and it may be nice to have an area just for that topic, but all the chirstians would go there and then we'd just have to go back to the R&S section to avoid them. hehe, but hey if there was a place for that i'd put mah questions there.

i think that would be a good idea because it is kind of annoying that this board is supposed to be about mythology and people are asking about spells and ghosts and whether it is possible to become a mermaid

I don't see why not. Of coarse you would open the door to people aksing how to make a love potion or curse some one. I do belive that stuff can work under certain conditions.
