i just got a nikon coolpix s550

what do you guys personally think about it

NOT BAD, i have a canon ixus which has a 10meg pixel function

I don't have one, but I looked it up, and it looks really nice. Have fun with it! :)

It doesn't matter what we think. Odds are you'll get an amateur review, or a camera snob. The last thing you want is to have a camera that you don't like anymore just because someone else's opinion.  What really matters is how you it feels in your hand, if you find the functions easy to navigate through and if the quality of the prints are what you expected or better.
