Just incase!!?

Question

im having a girl :) yay but just incase i was thinking of some boys names or even just for future preference so here what i think is cool for a boy (what do u think?)

Harvey - as i can imagine a little baby being called harvey and also it would suit an older guy

Also do u think its still common for boys to be named after their father??

Most of the guys I know named Harvey are older men.  It's not my personal favorite, but okay.

its is a sutable name and alot of boys are named after father like 250 out of 500 are named after there dads

I like Harvey.

Since we're living in an age where parents want their kids to have unique names then most aren't named after the father.

i like the name harvey. and i like the idea of sons being named after their fathers. although, i like it when the sons middle name is after the father, not first. but ya, me and my girlfriend are pregnant with out son and im handicapped so it'll be hard but we'll do okay. good luck with your little girl!

i love the name Harvey! it makes you think of a friendly person :)

& i dont think its really that common these days but i think its nice for a boy to be named after his father or grandfather..

i knew 2 guys named harvey,both was older and are pasted on now.but they went by harve as a nickname!I dont see nothing wrong the name.

As for the boys being named after there fathers its still done and its ok my only down fall on that is  alot of times things get messed up. i have a family memeber his first name is the same as his dads but the middle name was different.and they have had some problems with there sons credit history,and other important things being put on the fathers records instead of the son.then the father had to fight to get it removed!

in like the name harvey and no it's not too common for boys to be named after their dads.

I don't think this will help, but it's a funny story. When my parents were pregnant with my little sister, they joked that if she was a boy they would call her Justin Casey (Just in case-y).

I like Harvey, that would be very cute for a little boy, and you're right it would grow with him. I don't know about everyone else, but in our family we still pass down names to the first born boy. Good luck and congratulations!
