After comming back from holiday i want to buy my own board, i want something which i can take to the park and jib rails but i also want to be able to take it up the mountain to use on-piste. Is the darkstar a good choice and any other recomendations in the same price range would be great.

  1. stay away from k2 boards.  they feel nice and are fun to ride, but they are lower quality.  stick to a burton if you like parks

  2. I got a buddy who rides the 08 Darkstar and he loves it, he  can ride pow and he kills it in the park,  I haven't got to ride it myself, but he's pretty experienced rider, and he highly recommends it.

  3. I don't know anyone who rides the darkstar, but the TWS Goodwood award is a good testement.  Any one of the Goodwood tested boards is likely a good choice.  Also, consider the new versions of past goodwood winners.  Check it at: http://www.transworldsnowboarding.com/sn...

  4. i would recomend the burton dom-grom. its a very very good all around board.

  5. The K2 Darkstar is a good alround board its best in the park and good in the pipe but also handles well over the rest of the mountain. I used to own one around 2005 ish and really liked it but since then it has been improved on even more and is really good value for money as well. Id recommend it for sure, Good luck with the riding.
