  1. I found a marriage for a Kate M Blood and  a George M Miller in Outagamie County (the county where Appleton is) recorded on May 4,  1872.   It also appears that she is the daughter of  Henry L Blood according to the 1870 census.

Source Citation: Year: 1870; Census Place: Appleton Ward 2, Outagamie, Wisconsin; Roll: M593_1730; Page: 366; Image: 276.

    Henry L Blood 56

    Mary M Blood 38

    Fred Blood 21

    Flora May Blood 5

Henry Blood was born in New Hampshire,  Mary in New Jersey and all of the children in Wisconsin. Henry Blood ran a hotel.

Here is the same family in 1860.  Source Citation: Year: 1860; Census Place: Grand Chute, Outagamie, Wisconsin; Roll: M653_1424; Page: 487; Image: 493.

    Bardine Baraboo 19

Bardine Baraboo was a servant from Holland.  In this census, the son Egbert is listed as being born in Michigan- a clue you didn't have from the last census.

It appears that there are several people who have Henry L Blood in their family tree.  Here are a few links to family trees that are already created.  Please only use these as clues or contact points.  Do NOT take anything as gospel until you have gathered the appropriate documentation to support your findings.  I hope that this helps you.

It appears from this link that Katie was the daughter of his wife named Lillian Curtis.   The following is recorded about Katie (Kitty) on this page:

Kitty BLOOD was born May 4, 1851, married to George M. MILLER in 1872; they have had two children, one boy having died and the girl now living; Mrs. MILLER died in Lawrence, Kan., Dec. 28, 1874.
