Katimavik (applying for)?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone who has done Katimavik before that applied close to March 1st can tell me how long after applying it was that they heard back.

Has anyone ever applied right away and not got in?

Hey there! I did Katimavik in 2006-2007, and I have NEVER heard of anyone who wasn't accepted if they applied right away. In fact, some of my group members and other people I'd met applied, then called head office to say they didn't want to do it, then called them back several weeks later with a change of heart, and STILL got accepted. I wouldn't worry too much. They generally pick people for the first and second phases first. The third and fourth come later. So, its possible you are a III or IV participant, which is perfectly fine!!
