Kawasaki zx6r tire pressure?

Hey just out of curiosity does anyone know the correct tire pressure fir this model bike . Ive had for over a year and finally look at the tires today and noticed no psi on it . or am i just over looking something. am a fairly new rider and rather ask the dumb question then kill myself on it . thanks in advance.

  1. look on the tire again it is on the left side of the tire.always check the tires because they have probably been changed from factory tires.different tires have different pressures.


  2. For future reference, always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.

    Sometimes the year can make a difference.

    Kawasaki recommends on every ZX6 -

    36 -front

    42 - rear

    There should be a sticker on the left side of the swing arm, or chain guard.

  3. Hey I don't know the specific size.

    A good indicatior is if you got like purple colored oil and dust on the outsides of the tire. If you got more than an inch bring your pressure down.

    These could also be chicken strips. If they're chicken strips you need to stop being a girl and lean that bike over!

  4. check on the chain guard or swingarm. there should be a sticker there indicating the correct air pressure. check your owner's manual. it should be printed in there too.
