Former Manchester United player, Roy Keane has gone on to label QPR’s Joey Barton as a liability and feels the club needs to take the player’s actions into consideration while deciding his future at the club.
Barton has been banned for eleven games by the FA, following his actions on the last day of the Premier League season.
The QPR player went on to elbow http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincent-Kompany-c36184.
Having already been shown the red, it was amazing for him to lash out in that way.
In his defence, Barton admitted that he was trying to get one of the City players to react towards him, so that they would also get a red card. With that not happening, QPR went down to ten men and lost the game in the last minute of stoppage time, despite
being up by two goals to one in the 89th minute.
Keane seems to have seen enough of Barton and his actions and when talking about the player, the former Red Devil is reported to have said:  “The reality is that he [Barton] has become a liability for QPR.”
“No manager expects to have a dressing room full of angels and you will allow players to get away with indiscretions if they deliver on the park.”
He added: “If you want people to forgive you, you don’t just say, ‘I’m sorry, like it or lump it’.
“It’s not like the first time he has stepped out of line but there’s no indication that he’s willing or able to change.
“I’m all for people getting second chances but how many chances does one person need? The thing is, it’s not as easy as saying QPR should get rid of him.”
It is now a wait to see just what QPR decide to do with the player and whether they decide to keep him around or not.
Given his wages, it is highly unlikely for anyone to land him, which is why it is interesting to wait for the club’s decision.
