Keep Dreaming of BLACK animals???????

Well, this one is striking me as a little strange...

The other night I dreamed it was a very dark night, I was standing outside, and I looked down and there was a huge bunny rabbit. Jet black.

Then, last night, I dreamed that I released all these jet black fish into the 4gal fish tank we have. What does the black mean? And why the animals? I do know of someone who is pregnant, could that be it???

White is the symbol of innocence, purity and Spirit.  Black is the polar opposite; it is the symbol of darkness, deceit and things hidden.  These archetypes on our planet literally come from night and day, and they help us symbolize good vs evil, or innocent vs. mal-intent.

A bunny rabbit is a pretty benign, furry pal. The Native Americans believe they are symbols of fear.  Here, in your dream, I feel it is a symbol of someone close to you, who looks pretty harmless and innocent, but is hiding a darker purpose.  You have been warned.

The fish are survival symbols.  You "release" these black fish into water, which is the symbol of emotions.  I think you carry with you a lot of negative emotions with you that you are unaware of, and they need to be released. You could help yourself by trying to meditate.  I also got a strong message to tell you to be careful what you say out of emotional upset:  that you can release some venomous or negative things when you are upset.

Your dream appears to stem from a desire to see these creatures free in the sense of being fulfilled, but within your protection.

Out on a dark night carries great import.  It can be the place of things mysterious and even frightening.  Of course a rabbit is a creature of the night as well - but so are the predators that would destroy him.  Rabbits depend on camoflage and speed for protection - how much more guarded could one be on a very dark night than to be jet black in color?  Such a magnificent creature would be as a fleeting wraith before its pursuers.  And yet you had the pleasure of witnessing this animal - you had the presence and insight into that darkness to discern the thing.

Rabbits also so represent vitality of spirit - and life itself.  That can easily relate to the pregnancy you mention.  You of course want this friend to have a good experience and a healthy, happy baby - ultimately a child who can grow and stay ahead of the predators of this world.

The fish may hold similar clues.  Fish can be a sign of vitality - and can be important spiritual symbols, sometimes of faith.  You've released into your tank - which could be regarded has holding them captive.  However, what might their plight be if not brought to your tank?  The fish's first environment is water - and they do not seem to be aware of captivity when they are in a comfortable tank.  There they can be nurtured and watched over - and observed and enjoyed as they go about their lives.  

Black fish?  Sometimes people take black as an ominous sign - something dark.  Another way to look at black is vivid power - something stunningly different and contrasting to other objects in the same environment.  It can be a bold statement of arrival.  Fish tend to suggest freedom - and the nature of these may imply boldness and strength among the more ordinary.

Can the fish also relate to the pregnancy?  Easily so - again, vitality of spirit and wellness of being.  Why four?  Hard to say - random?  We often place some number of fish in such tanks.  More talismanic?  Perhaps so - very possibly so - but what?  What it is in the context of your life and thinking that four might represent?  Is that a vital number for something happening in your life now?

We are at a crossroads in our history - many changes are going on about us as we deal as a people, collectively at best, individually at our worst quite often, with challenges in the economy, energy and other important matters.  We have before us a choice - for at least 4 years one of the candidates before us will serve as the most important focal point for our needs - the president of the United States.  

One could hardly think of a new child coming into this world to someone we care about without giving some thought as to what that world will be for that child.  This moment may be on your mind, but you only can really answer that as you only know the true context of such a thing in your own heart and mind.

Four could otherwise mean any number of others things - it is not a typically talismanic number like 3 or 7 tend to be - but may be for your own personal reasons.  It may also simply be a random thing - just a number visualized.  But somehow, since you recalled it, there seems to be a meaning that you might sort out for that.
