I remember when I lived in California in the 1980's there was a sports caster named Keith Olbermann. I heard the name a couple of days ago and the Keith Olbermann I remember was a horrible sports caster so I thought it must be a different Olbermann , but it was the same guy and still just as bad. the 30 minutes I watched was mainly an anti-American rant and I haven't found anyone else I know that watches the show. Does anyone watch it, and what is the show actually about?

  1. i don't watch his show.  it's an attempt to counteract bill o'reilly.  olbermann is pretty judgemental and likes to throw out harsh words for lots of different people.  it's kind of like a news show with a political twist - he covers all kinds of stories.

  2. No one watches it.  It's almost as bad as Lou Dobbs.

  3. Actually, quite a few people are watching Olbermann these days. "Countdown". Olbermann's show on MSNBC has, on occasion, trounced "The O'Reilly Factor" in the ratings, even when a substitute host is filling in for Keith.

The show itself is a fast-paced hour in which Olbermann takes a look at the top stories of the day. The show had a lot of political news, but entertainmernt and sports stories get some play as well.

In an interview, Olbermann said he has gone after the right because that is who is power. He insists he'll be just as critical when Democrats take the White House in the fall..

  4. You're right. Olbermann was that sports broadcaster. He was bad then, and he's bad now. To make matters worse, he has become increasingly bitter over the years because he has never been able to rise above second string in a second rated news show. He's a huge Lib who's sole reason for being is to attack Conservatives.
