Our microwave seems to be heating not as well as it did 2-3 weeks ago. We took the front panel off and found that the 20 amp fuse seemed to be blackened. We replaced the fuse tonight, but it does not seem to have solved the problem. To test, we popped a bag of popcorn using the popcorn button prior to replacing the fuse and after. Both times, it took an additional 2-3 minutes to pop the bag after using the popcorn button. Additionally, we tested a regular cup of tap water. Usually it takes 1:35 to heat the cup of liquid to be HOT. Now it is taking anywhere from 3-4 minutes to make that happen. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix this problem? Are there other components that I should look at?
