It all depends what you are going to use it for.  I make bread almost every week so my choice had to be the major.  It works without any strain or hesitation.  It is worth the extra - the best often does - but the results will speak for themselves.  Commercial businesses use this product and that says a lot.  If you are only going to use a mixer for light jobs there are plenty on the market.  My advice to to shop around I got a good bargain via the net.
