Keyboaard stops talking to cpu

Question

Sometimes when I am typing, the keyboard stops talking to the cpu and stops functionings altogether.  I must be hitting a key or combination of keys to make this happen but have no information on what or how it happens.  The only way I can get it to reset is to unplug the usb outlet and then replug it.  Can you help me please.
