Kicker Solo-baric L7 box?

hey would it sound better in a seald box or ported or vented andddd would it sound better in a greater cubic feet or less internal box volume

  1. the kicker L7 sub is made for jsut pounding the heck out of your ears and being straight up loud. they like to be in ported boxes and thats exactly what you should put it in. it will give you the louder lower bass that they are known for hitting. and the greater cubic feet the louder the bass will be. keep in mind all subs have a maximum cubic feet they can take and if exceeded it will damage the sub. but yes make it the biggest the sub can handle and get a ported box

  3. A solo baric is meant to be in a ported box for maximum loudness. Ported or Vented will give it that boom your probably looking for, Sealed will give it more precise clean bass but not as loud. It will be better with greater cubic feet for more sound to flow but I personally suggest a ported box for your Kicker sub. I have 2 Kicker subs in a ported box and they pound.
