Killed Azelf in Diamond?

Question

I killed Azelf because I tried and I tried,put him to sleep,used so many ultra balls,timer balls but I failed.Will this make a difference to my game play by any chance?I only have Uxie and I can still get Mesprit if I want.

Just turn off your game and turn it back to the last savestate. that is unless you killed azelf and then saved, cause then you are screwed.

Its either start a new game or live with it. I keep telling people to use the move False Swipe.

No it want make a difference to your gameplay, the way to get an uxie now is by trading with someone you know or get of GTS.

Uxie took me 35 ultra balls to capture :0

It  will not make a huge difference to the gameplay of Diamond. But I have to agree with Pokemon Master, Restart your game, return to the last savegame and hope its before versing the legendary, AND MAKE SURE TO USE FALSE SWIPE. Max out (99) Timer Balls, Ultra Balls, Or try to get a master ball from the Lottery in Jubilife TV everyday until you do manage to get one. Keep attacking Azelf with your highest level'd pokemon until it is red in health, then spam false swipe until it fails, then SPAM POKEBALLS until you either run out of pokemon, pokeballs, or patience.

Alternatively, you could use Darkrai's Dark Void move to put it to sleep =] If you are not lucky enough to own a Darkrai, then maybe you should consider training a Togepi. I caught my Togepi, Then used its metronome move on Palkia (I have Pearl) while I was doing the whole 'Lets keep restarting the battle with the legendary, trying to get a shiny' thing, and the first to metronomes used the two moves : JUDGMENT (Arceus) And DARK VOID (Darkrai)...I was like OMG!!!!!

nahh it doesnt ruin the game play all u have to do is go to the gts and ask for one and if not u can have mine hope i helped :)

If you still haven't saved, turn off the power.  Take a break from catching him and try again later.  I got really frustrated with it so I just stopped and tried later.  Focus on training your good pokemon or something.  It won't change the game, but you can't get him unless you trade.
