  1. John 3:16...

  2. 'for God so loved the world he gaethh his only begotten son; and whosoever  beleiveth in him shall not perish  but have everlasting life. Jonh 3:16

    self explanatory

  3. John 1:1 -"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Basically, "the Word" is speaking of Jesus.  This verse indicates that Jesus existed from the very beginning and he was with God, and ultimately, is God himself.  This is scriptural evidence of a central tenet of the Christian faith, the Trinity.

John 1:14- "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

This speaks of the "the Word" coming to earth in human form.  And remembering what John 1:1 means, this is an extraordinary claim: it is essentially saying that God himself took on human form and would live among mere humans.

John 3:16-"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Probably the most well known verse in the Bible. Telling in a nutshell, why Jesus came to earth and how salvation is obtained: by faith in him.  Whoever puts their faith in Christ will have everlasting life.

John 14:6-"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Pretty straight forward verse, and one that is controversial among opponents of Christianity.  Essentially Jesus is saying without him, there is no salvation. Not through Buddha, Allah, or whatever else, only through him.

The list of great verses in the Bible goes on and on, but I hope this at least can get you started.
