It started off as a ghost who would just fix and shut jammed doors and yesterday he knocked over a shelf in my room!!! It was was obvious you would have to push the shelf and about five minutes after that beads started to fall o the floor. I know a former owner of the house died of mixing drinks. So is it mice or is it paranormal

  1. Yeah I'm not sure why you jumping to ghost as the 1st conclusion on this. Nothing you have presented says ghost to me. Shelves fall over , doors will jam , and unjam . It could be many things. Dying from mixed drinks is just alcohol poisoning by an alcoholic , quite normal , you don't need a ghost. Its normal stuff not paranormal.

  2. This question is known as a false dichotomy.  You ask if it's paranormal or if it's mice.  I say it could be either, but not necessarily.  There are many things that can cause a shelf to fall or beads to roll.  This needn't be a ghost at work.  Also, do you honestly believe there is a ghost who makes it his business to fix jammed doors?  How is he at opening pickle jars?

How does someone die from mixing drinks?  And what does that have to do with anything in your question?

  3. We had a ghost that would make all the doors jam for months then loosen them for a while and jam them again.....

Well actually it wasn't a ghost at all, it was because it was a crappy old house with bad foundations. See if changes happen in your house which correspond with the seasons.

  4. the best thing to do would be to go to our myspace, (in the sources part of this answer) and look under our friends list to see if there are any paranormal researchers in your area that can maybe assist you in confirming a possible haunt. Just send them a message. As most groups are non-profit organisations, they would just be more than happy to do it. Also before you do, set up some food on a counter top or floor somewhere, if its gone in the morning, you either have a hungry ghost or mice. As a paranormal investigator, about 50% of hauntings we investigate ar mice related.

  5. Only you know for sure.

  6. If I were you, I'd definately get the place sweeped by a medium of some sort, because you could have a really dangerous spirit that wants to cause you bodily harm, so I suggest you do this quickly.

Don't try to contact the ghost yourself though.  Just be safe, and get help.  That's what I suggest.

(p.s.  It's not mice.  they don't have enough bodily volume to do that.  :P)

  7. Mice.

    or...............maybe more. who knows
