  1. its really tough to figure out where a clog is, i would stay away from the drain cleaners because they make more mess and also make working with the clog more dangerous.

sometimes if you have a wet dry vac, holding your hand over the second opening or drain, and then sucking out the drain of the open sink will do it.

  2. You will need a longer snake , you made need to run the snake through the vent pipe from the roof down, if it can't breath it won't drain

  3. stop with the acid.  now you will have to work in it...

being you already tried a snake, this tells me that:

either your snake is too short

    OR

you have a soft stoppage <grease> and you will have to work the snake back and forth agitating the stoppage until it "Opens".  keep trying the snake.  it's the only way right now.

if that does not work, your snake is too short.

  4. Put the plug in the disposer side and try to use a plunger on the other. (I don't wish to insult your intelligence if you've already tried this). Does water not go down either side? If not the clog is further down. I'm surprised a 15 foot snake doesn't reach it. PS - don't use Drano in your disposer it will corrode it.

  5. do you have a septic system or city sewer?

We just had this same problem and come to find out the previous owners didn't disclose that they put in a dry well. Haha, what that is is simply a pipe with small slits stuck out the wall into a hole in the ground covered with small rocks, so the water simply dumps into the ground.  I put in a garbage disposal and that's when it really got backed up, well yah!!! stupid people trying to get by cheap instead of fixing the pipe to the septic tank.

  6. try some hot water , also their is a tool that i don't it's name in english,, but ask for it it's kinda like a pump , also their is a powder u can put hot water

  8. Keep using the snake to try to push whatever it is out. When you DO get that cleared it would be a good idea to put a mesh filter in the drain, this way you prevent bulky junk from getting stuck in there. Try the plunger too...There is also this thing that has compressed air and when pushed into the drain, it shoots a very stong force down the drain, maybe that can do the trick.

  9. i always use this even just to clean my pipes! get some anykind vinegar and baking soda pour baking soda in hole and then the vinegar behind that it will make a boiling sound and after a few minutes pour HOT HOT water down the drain and use a plunger and then plunge a few times and see if it will work. i use it in all my sinks and tub also.
