The BVB manager stated that his side was on top of their game after thrashing Borussia Monchengladbach 5-0, and was pleased with the team.
Borussia Dortmund trainer Jurgen Klopp suggested that the BVB made up more than for their failings against Eintracht Frankfurt by giving a convincing performance in a 5-0 hammering of Borussia Monchengladbach in Die Borussen derby
on Saturday.
Summer signing, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Reus-c23733, was in amazing form and netted twice against his former club. He also assisted a goal as the DFB-Pokal cup winners look to close the gap on Bayern Munich who are leading the league table. The coach claimed
that his side played exceptionally and were playing delightful football.
"The lads have done well, in what has been a beautiful evening of football. There is nothing to complain about today," he stated.
The young manager said that he has no reservations after the Gladbach triumph and insisted that they more than made up for losing their two-goal advantage against Eintracht Frankfurt. He stated that they played really well at the
end against a strong Gladbach team, and scored beautiful goals.
"We more than made up for fumbling our two-goal lead [against Eintracht Frankfurt] tonight. We had a really good second half, against a top opponent. We scored some really great goals,” he mused.
The tactician revealed that the BVB were either deadly in front of the goal or maybe had a good day unlike their previous league game. The club official stressed that Dortmund played brilliantly and were enjoying their football.
He maintained that they had a sublime day in the Bundesliga.
"Today, we either were more clinical in finishing off moves, or simply had better luck than we did the last time out. We played really good football, and had a lot of fun. Everything was perfect today," he concluded.
Klopp will be looking forward to replicate their league form onto the UEFA Champions League format, as they take on English Premier League champions Manchester City on Wednesday. Dortmund won their opening game of the European
competition with a 1-0 win against Ajax.
