  1. Well, if you know the system you must have read the book. Are you having trouble understanding it or something?

Knockout Blackjack is an unbalanced system. That means there is no true count, only a running count. To decide when to raise your bet, you just wait until the count hits the breaking point where the odds sway in your favor. This number varies based on the number of decks in play. I do not remember what the number is for specific numbers of decks, it is in the book.

As far as how much you should bet, I think it presented a couple of ways to increase you bet in the book. The easy way was to just have a big bet and small bet. The small bet should be the table minimum, and the big bet should be a multiple of the small bet that is at least a certain number. For example, if memory serves me correct, is the small bet is $10, the large bet should be AT LEAST $40 ( or 4 times the small bet) in a double deck game. This number will change based on the number of decks, and again, is listed in the book.

If you need an explanation of something specific that's in the book, feel free to email me. Be prepared to type the exact text in the email, as I just got the book at the library and read it a long time ago. If you do not have the book and just read about KO off a website or something, go buy it you cheap b*astard.

  2. complete Information on the ko system is difficult to find online, you need to buy a book that outlines it.

Unbalanced systems work differently and to my knowledge would need to be adjusted somehow based on the number of decks in play, i doubt you will find complete information on how to employ the system based on all possible number of decks.

You may find information on it somewhere off this page:

  3. In a game of blackjack with multiple decks, counting becomes harder, because counts go up and down depending on how many high cards are left in the deck (8-A), thus it is harder to predict the next card. The best thing to do is assign -0.5 to the old -1 cards and +0.5 to the old +1 cards, and make bets accordingly.
