Kodak V1233 camera USB problem?

I have recently bought the Kodak V1233 camera and the camera itself works fine however when I try to transfer pictures to the computer using the U-8 lead, the computer is unable to identify any devices. The software has installed fine but is not picking up any devices. What can I do now?

Well, one thing that is for almost all cameras to computers is even if you don't have the software is :

1. plug the camera up off then turn it on after it's connected to the computer

2. then go to your "my computer"

3. look under the cameras name or under a drive that you've never seen before

4. click and it will be file rather than pictures but if you click on them you'll see the pictures

5. just copy and paste to you computer and you're done!
