where does kroger get their gas?

What's a kroger gas? 1st time ever heard or read koger gas. Why not use Caltex, Mobil or other brand?

I asked them that once because I was going to start buying their gas since it wasn't as expensive as Shell or Exxon. ...and I didn't want to put crappy gas in my car. They told me it was proprietary information but that it was one of the major oil companies. I decided not to buy from them so I used WalMart's Murphy USA instead. So far I've had no problems and pay less than Krogers price.

From the same refineries as all the other brands. They all have to meet the same government standard for the octane rating they're selling.

They get their gas from any of the hundreds of refineries all over the world, just like all other gas stations.  

Are you another one of those "patriots" that's trying to "buy American"?
