Im working on my transition from stance to stance. I realize that a lot of it is practice and muscle memory. Is there anything special that I should be feeling for that would let me know Im doing something particularly right or wrong?

  1. When you can make the transitions with out thinking about it then you will have made progress.

  2. You are working on something that will benefit you over your whole Kung Fu life.  It is something that we push all the time.

Be sure that each posture is correct before moving to the next.  When moving, try to keep your body(head) at the same elevation (don't stand up).   This will tear your legs up allot at first, but you will be building the muscles necessary for good Kung Fu.   Take your time and go slow.   You are certainly on the right track.

Also,  be sure to show your instructor what you are doing.  They will be better at pointing out the little details that will help you progress faster and be better overall.

Keep up the hard work and you will reap the benefits!!!
