L webcam freeware for mac?

In the anime Death Note, the character L uses a webcam to communicate with others. He sees the feed from their webcam, but all they see is an image. Is there a free program for mac that will do this for for my iSight camera. I know that this must be technically possible, but is there a free software that can do it?
