To open these files you have to have a .rar file opener. To get one free visit http://7-zip.org/

You need the passwords to extract the files. If you are using 7-zip right click on the file and you will see 7-zip. Mouse over it and press extract file. Put in the password when it asks you for it. Files that are not password protected will not ask you for a password. :)
