down to earth pizza joint...or upscale?

I have heard awesome reviews about lou's.

But since i am not from chicago...is it an UPSCALE

place or down to earth pizza joint?

Also, what is best KIND of pizza

on their menu?

Totally casual. Deep dish butter crust is the best. (you have to ask for butter crust...sooo worth it!)

Shoes, shirt required.(I guess pants also but have never seen that on a sign)

I like cheese, bacon,spinach and tomato. (Kind of like my own version of a BLT)

BTW, you needn't capitalize everything,

but, if you do, at least do so, correctly!

Totally low key.  Any pizza is fabulous.

Don't skip the house salad.  Best dressing in the city.

It's a pizzeria. Dress accordingly, as you would at ANY restaurant.

Chicago Deep Dish pizza is what you're looking for. Don't put too many ingredients in it, you don't need it. It's casual

Very casual atmosphere, not at all upscale. Their pizzas are really yummy...the only thing I didn't like is how MUCH sausage they put on if you order sausage.....seems to kind of over power the pizza...that may be a matter of personal preference though. I would totally get any of their pizzas...I believe they are all Chicago style deep dish. I'm actually jealous you are going there and I can't:( Eat some for me too!!!!
