  1. There is an area in the province of Valencia called "La Safor"...

Towns such as Gandía, Tavernes and Oliva among others, are in that part of Spain.

I hope this is what you were looking for.

    :-)

  2. Google it.  put La Soforas - map in your address window, and click on a map that looks interesting.

  3. well... you've stumped me. I have consulted my listing of villages and towns in Spain and can't find any with that name!

I know that Sóforas are a type of tree so I have tried searching "Las Sóforas" which would be more gramatically correct in Spanish as Sóforas is the plural of Sófora so you can't have "la" as a prefix which is the singular.

I have also tried it with the alternative spelling of "Las Sóphoras" but still can't find it.

The only conclusion I can come to is that there isn't an official place with that name.

You may find that it is a resort name or the name of a block of apartments which is why it can't be found.

I hope I have been of some help even though I haven't really been able to answer your question!
