I can't say until I see a fully healthy Portland team.  But, I can say that Pau Gasol, offensively, makes since team significantly better.  LaMarcus is not as polished offensively, but is probably equal or better defensively.

Pau is better right now and more experienced and a better defender and rebounder.  ALdridge has plenty of time to develope and could be a very good player.  Just needs to work on his post game, he shoots a lot of jumpers and turn around jumpers.

Pau Gasol hands down.  Gasol is all around better than Aldridge is most catagories other than steals and turnovers which Aldridge has more steals and less turnovers.  Other than that Gasol gets more minutes for his team is a better shooter from everywhere on the floor than Aldridge, Pau gets more blocks, assists and he scores more.  Pau is better for the Lakers than Aldridge has been for the Trail Blazers.
